CHAPTER III
We gather now in the resonance between worlds, carried by sound into a space where imagination and spirit can meet. Conversation opens as a bridge — a flowing between forest and city, between ancestral memory and the lives we are shaping today. To listen is to allow a vision to unfold, not only of what has been, but of what can be. The voices of the Huni Kuin remind us of the beauty and hardship held in the forest, and of the strength that emerges through community. In their stories we recognize our own — the challenges and possibilities of the places we live.
This is an invitation to dream together: across cultures, across distances, as humans longing for connection. In the shared field of sound, may we receive images of a future woven with reciprocity, where we sustain and uplift one another.
Grateful to walk this path with you,
Alisa

COMMUNITAS
In the Study & Reflection area you will find several questions and invitations to reflect. Please choose one and share it in the Telegram chat. This supports others in expanding their understanding and also prepares us for the upcoming class with Rita.
We also invite you to share one question you would like to ask Rita directly in the group chat. The Invisible Worlds Team will collect these, and your contribution can help inspire others in shaping their own questions.
As always: anything related to GUARDIANS — even in an abstract way — is welcome. Feel free to comment on someone else’s post too. Thank you so much for your contributions.
STUDY & REFLECTION
Please watch the Conversation with Rita below and take some notes.
How would you describe the role of women within Huni Kuin culture in your own words?
How do you see the difference compared to the role of non-Indigenous women, in a few words?
What is shifting in your understanding of Indigenous life in the forest after listening to this conversation?
What resonates and inspires you?
What remains unclear?
What are you taking with you for your own life, no matter your gender?Watch the longer conversation with Rita and Alisa from 2023 as an additional deepening of what you have learned so far.
Please take some notes (ideally written down, otherwise reflect on them in your mind).
Based on everything you have learned so far about Huni Kuin culture, what is your most pressing question for Rita?
How is your understanding of art shifting after learning about Huni Kuin crafts and artistic practices?
If you could choose one aspect of Huni Kuin life for non-Indigenous societies to apply instantly, what would it be?
Please bring your notes to the upcoming zoom class!
RITUAL
Sit at your altar. Put on headphones or play through good speakers. Dedicate at least 30 minutes — or longer, if you wish — to receive a vision for a shared future.
Listen to Chapter III of ATTUNE: begin with the Poetic Prelude,
Then immerse yourself in the full piece, ASCENSION. This shared space of resonance is designed to spark inspiration and open the imagination toward envisioning a collective future.
Hold this intention: you have just heard about life in the forest — the hardships and the beauty in the Huni Kuin villages — as well as the challenges and possibilities present in the place where you live. From this awareness, invite an image to arise:
How can we come together across cultures?
How can we come together as humans?
How can we support each other sustainably?
Notice what you see, feel, or receive. Take some notes. Bring it to the call, maybe you wanna share this with the group and/or Rita.
If no clear image comes right away, simply set the intention. Insights may arrive later, in another moment, when you are not actively seeking them.
