Ritual Day Retreats for the Beginning and End of the Rauhnächte, the liminal time between years.

With Cultural Researcher & Artist Alisa Reimer (M.A.) & Friends

The Rauhnächte — the Nights between the years — mark a liminal passage within the old European calendar. A time outside time. A thinning of veils between seen and unseen, between past, present and future. During this year's Rauhnächte/Dreamtime, Alisa is hosting a day retreat at the beginning and end of the journey as well as an Online Program, with an international community coming together to study, learn, reflect, and envision. This is an invitation to enter the Invisible Worlds under Alisa’s guidance and be guided through the ritual arc of transformation and renewal between years.

Beneath the surface of Christmas lies an older rhythm, a season devoted to deep listening and attunement to the invisible, a portal of release and renewal.

Rooted in pre-Christian cosmologies and ancestral winter rites, these day retreats open a space for mytho-somatic experience, embodied reflection, and shared ritual. Held in the Jade Room and by the waters of the Heiliger See, we cross the passage from darkness into light, planting the seeds of vision for the year to come.

You are invited to join one or both retreats.

WINTER SOLSTICE
Opening the Dreamtime

Sunday, December 20th, 2026

We gather the day before the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year — to open the space that leads into the Twelve Nights of the Rauhnächte. This moment marks the turning of the light, a gateway between seasons and states of being.

Through myth, sound, and shared ritual, we enter the Rauhnächte together, celebrating the light’s return and preparing to step into the liminal space between years. Alisa will offer clear guidance on how to attune to and work with the Rauhnächte, so you can walk consciously and with support through this passage of integration, release, renewal and vision.

VISION
Weaving The Year Ahead

Sunday, January 3rd, 2027

The final night of the Rauhnächte marks the return from the liminal space. We gather to reflect on what the Rauhnächte has revealed and to ritually weave the tapestry of the year ahead, planting seeds of vision and renewal.

As the winds of the Rauhnächte still move between worlds, this retreat becomes a living map of reflection and mythic envisioning, a space for meditation, somatic anchoring, and embodied imagination. Here, we listen for what wishes to take form and call it gently into being before the Rauhnächte closes.

About Alisa

I am a Berlin based degreed cultural researcher (M.A.), multi-disciplinary artist and educator. My spiritual journey began as a 11 year old girl, when my grandmother gave me a historic book about pagan traditions in Europe. It was a key moment, as it opened my imagination to the invisible worlds.

In 2024, I launched the Invisible Worlds Study Program, offering online learning environments that engage the senses, prioritize experiential learning, and combine critical thinking with intuitive embodiment, creative practice and ritual art.
