Lives in the remote village of Jordão, in the state of Acre in the Brazilian Amazon. She is a visual artist whose work depicts the traditional stories and cosmologies of her people. Her art has been exhibited at the São Paulo Museum of Modern Art, Berlin Art Week, and other international venues. Rita is one of the leading young female voices of the Huni Kuin people—an artist, communicator, and cultural bridge.

She is a co-founder of the Kayatibu collective, which promotes Huni Kuin culture and spirituality through the arts, as well as the Indigenous women’s association Ainbu Dayá, dedicated to the empowerment and visibility of Indigenous women.

She is the founder of Living Gaia e.V., established in 2013 in Berlin to support the protection of pristine natural areas and the cultural sovereignty of Indigenous peoples, especially the Huni Kuin. With a background in business economics, psychology, and authorship, she brings decades of experience to her ongoing board work. She is deeply committed to fostering a more life-affirming and people-centered culture that honors what is truly natural rather than what has merely become normalized.

In her research and artistic practice, Alisa bridges the scientific and ceremonial realms by exploring the role that ancient cosmologies and practices play in postmodern times. She studied and worked in academia in Mexico and Germany, focusing primarily on Cultural and Latin American Studies as well as History. For over a decade she has been building bridges between cultures, bringing wisdom carriers from diverse lineages into dialogue with contemporary audiences across Europe.

With Invisible Worlds, she curates intercultural gatherings, educational formats and ritual spaces that honor the unseen dimensions of our lives, honouring kinship across cultures, intuitive ways of knowing and collective remembering through embodied dialogue.

Bunke Inani Huni Kuin lives in the village of Boa Vista at the Jordão River in Acre, Brazil. She has 5 children and is a cultural leader of the women in her region. She has travelled a lot in Latin America, Europe, and the Near East, passing on her culture and traditions and calling for more Indigenous wisdom in the world. Bunke also works with other Indigenous Peoples, sharing the Huni Kuin wisdom and Medicine to strengthen the Indigenous identities. She is an experienced workshop and retreat facilitator with a strong focus on women’s empowerment. Bunke is co-founder and president of the women’s association Ainbu Dayá.

Bismani Huni Kuin is a 19-year-old from the village of Novo Natal. She is the granddaughter of Ozélia, a highly respected female leader and medicine woman in the region. Bismani walks the path of both student and teacher: she learns traditional songs and medicinal knowledge from her elders and shares them with the younger generations in her village. Currently, she lives in Rio Branco, the capital of Acre, where she continues her studies. She is deeply committed to seeking knowledge and carrying her culture forward.

Jaci Meinhold is a co-founder of the Ainbu Dayá association in Brazil. For over eight years, she has been working with the Huni Kuin people, spending time living in their villages in the Amazon, where she values the appreciation and harmony in which people live with wild nature. At Living Gaia, her focus is on realising projects with Huni Kuin women in the forest and in Europe. Drawing on her close connection to the Huni Kuin women and her own Brazilian and German roots, Jaci serves as a cultural bridge between the Huni Kuin and communities in Europe and Brazil.
