A retreat for women, on the island of Rügen, where the Rauhnächte (the liminal ritual nights between years) come to their close and the new year begins to stir. This is when the threads of what is coming lie loose in our hands and the weaving is most alive. Through ritual, yoga, meditation, mythosomatics, nature immersions,
cleansing and oracular practice, story and song, we dive into the feminine oracle, nature mysticism, ancestral wisdom and the old winter mythology. It is for those who are unafraid to meet the elements at their strongest: the winds, the dark nights, the wild Baltic Sea.

The Rauhnächte — the Nights between the years — mark a liminal passage within the old European calendar. A time outside time. A thinning of veils between seen and unseen, between past, present and future. During this year's Rauhnächte, Alisa is hosting a Day Retreat at the beginning of the journey, on Winter Solstice, as well as an Online Program, throughout the passage and the full in-person retreat in January, fully immersed in wild and mythic nature. Throughout this time, we will be an international community coming together to integrate, reflect, study, ritualize and envision.
This is an invitation to enter the Invisible Worlds under Alisa’s guidance and be guided through the ritual arc of transformation and renewal between years.
Rooted in pre-Christian cosmologies and ancestral winter rites, this retreat opens a space for mytho-somatic experience, embodied reflection, and shared ritual. Held under a traditional thatched roof and close to the Baltic sea, we cross the passage from darkness into light, planting the seeds of vision for the year to come.
In the depth of winter, at the wild edge of nature in Germany, we gather to meet the myths that live in the body and in the land. This is a retreat for mythosomatic work, ritual, pagan winter tradition integrated into zeitgeist, and the Feminine — a space to descend, to listen, and to weave what the year ahead is asking to become.

RETREAT LOCATION
Our retreat home is a thatched-roof (Reetdach) half-timbered house (Fachwerkhaus), built in 1880, tucked away on the western side of the island of Rügen. A romantic Reetdachhaus with a large garden, looking out toward the island of Hiddensee.
The house comes with a romantic sauna, included in the retreat fee. All seminars and practices take place in a traditional Mongolian yurt in the garden, which we heat with a traditional oven, just as the ancients did.

Rooms
The rooms are distributed across six separate apartments, each with its own kitchen and its own bathroom.
We offer double rooms with single beds, double rooms with a shared bed, and several sofa beds in the cozy living rooms for single occupancy. These come at no extra cost, the same applies to double rooms with a shared bed.
Extra cost applies only to:
Double room with separate beds: €100 per person
Single room (upon availability): €200 per person
Please note that during sign-up you can share your room preference. Final room allocations will be confirmed shortly before the retreat, once we have full clarity on the booking constellation. Allocations are decided on a first come, first served basis.

As part of the retreat you will receive the Rauhnächte booklet, a 44-page guide Alisa has created and refined over the past years, offering intentional practices to anchor and accompany you through the Rauhnächte, starting on Winter Solstice (Dec 21st).
You can either receive it printed when you join the Day Retreat on December 20th to open the Rauhnächte together, or as a PDF version to print yourself, so you can carry it with you and travel through the Rauhnächte with guidance, wherever you are. This booklet is included.
This is the perfect preparation for our time together.
FOOD
Organic, vegan and vegetarian cuisine. We will prepare several meals communally: Cooking here is not separate from the ritual work, it is part of it. In the spirit of the old Hexenküche (witch's kitchen), learning meals that support the ritual work itself. This is where some of the most unassuming magic happens, in the shared, hands-in-the-dough kind of presence that connects us as much as any ceremony does.
On the day of arrival, we serve a welcome cake and dinner. On all other days, breakfast, light lunch and dinner. On departure day, brunch.

Alisa Reimer
In her research and artistic practice, Alisa bridges the scientific and ceremonial realms by exploring the role that ancient cosmologies and practices play in postmodern times. She studied and worked in academia in Mexico and Germany, focusing primarily on Cultural and Latin American Studies as well as History. For over a decade she has been building bridges between cultures, bringing wisdom carriers from diverse lineages into dialogue with contemporary audiences across Europe.
Her work unfolds through a return to earth-based ways of knowing, as something that moves through the body. This very place where the retreat takes place has been part of that inner movement for years, a site of listening, reorientation, and attunement for her personally. This time, others are invited into it. 🌿 -

Clara Lala
Clara Lala and Alisa have shared a friendship spanning more than a decade, sitting side by side in countless retreats, sweat lodges, ceremonies, concerts, trainings, and festivals—holding space with deep care, presence, and devotion.
A Berlin-born artist, designer, futurist, sound artist, and ritualist, Clara now lives and creates on the Azores, in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, where much of her work is inspired by the elemental rhythms of the natural world.
Throughout the retreat, Clara will offer Agnihotra at sunrise and sunset, inviting anyone who wishes to join her in welcoming and farewelling the sun through this practice that is deeply woven into her daily life. She will also offer gong immersions and sprinkle her magic throughout the retreat.

The Rauhnächte are the twelve nights between the years, an old threshold in the European winter calendar. Time loosens, the veil between the worlds grows thin, and each night is said to hold a seed of the month ahead. It is a time to go inward, listen, and weave the year to come with intention.
In order to travel through these days between years and prepare for our retreat, you are receiving a 44-page booklet to guide you until the moment that our retreat starts.

This retreat is for women who want to dive deep into the feminine oracle, nature mysticism, ancestral wisdom and the old winter mythology, and who are not afraid of meeting the strength of the elements: the winds, the dark nights, the wild Baltic Sea. No prior experience with ritual work is needed, only a willingness to be present and curious.

This is a very intimate group size and we will be around 10-13 participants and 2-3 team members.

On the last night we will have dinner in a local and very charming restaurant, where everyone orders à la carte (for those who eat fish, this is a moment to eat fish by the sea)

We will send you a packing list before the retreat. You will not have to bring much, so do not worry. Yoga mats and props are on site.
There will be an invitation to prepare for a certain ritual the days before our retreat and to bring a few things for it. This information will be sent to you after booking your spot.

How to get there
Let's get ready to leave the big cities behind and enter an adventure in wild nature. Yes, we are far out here on purpose, this remoteness is part of the retreat itself.

Fly into Rostock Airport, then continue by public transport or taxi toward Schaprode
Alternatively, fly into Hamburg or Berlin, both connect well via train toward Rügen

Our retreat program is generally held in English, as our community is very international. If everyone in the group speaks German, we may hold the retreat in German instead. If even one person does not speak German, we stay with English.
